Job summary

Dexter is hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead for the Springfield Distribution Center to supervise daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory control. This hands-on role drives productivity, maintains safety standards, and supports team performance in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include leading shifts, assigning tasks, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Lead or senior associate experience preferred.
• Familiarity with WMS and RF scanners.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse associates during assigned shifts.
• Prioritize and assign tasks including picking, packing, loading, receiving, and replenishment.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate shift updates and collaborate with supervisors.
