Job summary

Dexter’s Springfield Distribution Center is seeking a hands‑on 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead to drive productivity, safety, and inventory accuracy in daily operations. This role leads warehouse associates, prioritizes tasks like picking, packing, loading, receiving, and replenishment while ensuring orders are fulfilled on time and to spec.

You will operate forklifts, monitor cycle counts, and enforce safety policies, collaborating with supervisors to maintain high performance in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience.
Prior lead or senior associate experience preferred.
Familiarity with WMS and RF scanners.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and support warehouse associates during assigned shifts
Prioritize and assign tasks including picking, packing, loading, receiving, and replenishment
Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures
Communicate shift updates and collaborate with supervisors
