Job summary

Dexter is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead for the Springfield Distribution Center to guide daily operations, ensure accurate picking/packing, and maintain safety standards in a busy warehouse environment. This hands-on leadership role supports receiving, storage, and inventory control while meeting production and shipping schedules.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, leadership experience, and familiarity with WMS and RF scanners.

Qualifications

2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience.
Prior lead or senior associate experience preferred.
Familiar with WMS and RF scanners.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and support warehouse associates during assigned shifts.
Prioritize and assign tasks including picking, packing, loading, receiving, and replenishment.
Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
Communicate shift updates and collaborate with supervisors.
