Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing.
• Current forklift operator certification and safe operation experience.
• Ability to read shipping documents, bills of lading, and inventory records.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Work in varying cold temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in a refrigerated environment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work flexible hours including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving schedules and coverage.
• Ensure accurate picking, staging, loading, and documentation of orders.
• Provide daily work direction and training to warehouse staff.
• Monitor staffing against schedules and escalate concerns.
• Support training reviews and maintain documentation.
• Promote safe dock operations and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain open communication with other departments to meet requirements.
• Complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and training records on time.
• Monitor equipment, inspect docks, and report repairs.
• Operate spotter truck to move trailers for dock flow.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper location and lot control.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
