Job summary

Miniat in South Holland, IL is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate for the 2nd shift to load, receive, and move materials with a safety-focused approach. You will verify shipments, operate forklifts, and maintain accuracy in data and storage locations.

The role requires English fluency, basic computer skills, and the ability to work overtime and weekends. GMP/HACCP/USDA knowledge is preferred; union benefits apply after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required (minimum one year).
• Frequently communicates in English.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Basic working knowledge of computer applications.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials from inbound and outbound trucks.
• Verifies condition and quantity of materials being shipped or received.
• Moves, stores, stacks, and delivers materials and products to designated storage or production areas.
• Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts and walkers.
• Scans and verifies data in Adage matches actual shipments as needed.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
