Job summary

Vertical Cold Storage LLC in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Warehouse Lead for the 2nd shift (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. You will coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with procedures.

Responsibilities include supervising item reception, inventory labeling, packing and shipping preparation, recording shipments, and upholding safety rules. Prior warehouse or distribution experience and forklift familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
Prior use of forklift and motorized equipment desired.
Customer service experience preferred.
Physical requirements include sustained standing and lifting.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Verify items received, inspect condition, and record counts.
Maintain inventory by labeling and locating materials.
Prepare products for shipment, including pulling, packing, loading and securing.
Document shipments by recording units shipped.
Maintain material-handling equipment with pre-use inspections.
Process inventory through stacking, restacking, and wrapping as assigned.
Uphold safety rules and regulatory compliance.
