Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Utilities and Buildings & Grounds Supervisor for the 2nd shift. You will oversee ammonia refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and utility distribution, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. This role leads a mechanics and operators team, coordinating maintenance work orders and preventive tasks.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance with strong refrigeration knowledge and experience with SAP-PM. High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years in industrial maintenance, boiler/refrigeration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration theory.
• Experience with SAP-PM and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Proficient in Windows-based applications and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly maintenance team supporting boilers, refrigeration, building maintenance, and PSM activities.
• Ensure reliability and regulatory compliance of plant utilities.
• Oversee maintenance execution, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement of utility systems and asset management.
• Set work schedules, priorities, and performance expectations.
