Job summary

Tyson Foods' Seguin plant is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance technician for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on operating and maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems while upholding safety standards and Tyson policies.

You will work with a team to keep equipment running and ensure a safe work environment. Requirements include at least 6 months of HVAC and industrial refrigeration experience, with ammonia refrigeration preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months knowledge or experience with HVAC systems.
• 6 months of Industrial Refrigeration experience.
• Ammonia Refrigeration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the refrigeration and maintenance supervisor with personnel and equipment.
• Assign refrigeration techs to equipment during process periods.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdowns.
• Train refrigeration and maintenance techs on equipment.
• Follow up on parts inventory and outstanding POs.
• Fill in for absenteeism or assist in other areas of the plant.
