Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wilson, NC is seeking an entry-level manufacturing technician for 2nd shift to operate production equipment, read schematics, and assist engineers in troubleshooting and test procedures. This role focuses on building and testing aerospace components and requires basic electronics knowledge.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm, with overtime possible. The position offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition assistance and more.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; technical education preferred.
• Experience with electronics and production assembly is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot hardware.
• Familiarity with test equipment and measurement methods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment per blueprints and diagrams.
• Read schematics and participate in troubleshooting and calibration.
• Support test acceptance processes and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and other groups on technical matters.
• Document time, data and material usage accurately.
