Job summary

RTX, including Collins Aerospace, is hiring for a 2nd shift manufacturing/assembly role in Wilson, NC. The technician will operate production equipment, interpret schematics, and assist with testing and troubleshooting of aerospace components.

The job requires reading blueprints, collaborating with engineers, and maintaining documentation of test data and parts usage. The position emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to procedures to ensure product specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) in the US.
• Preferred: production assembly experience.
• Preferred: electronics experience; ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to manufacture and assemble aerospace components.
• Follow blueprints and diagrams to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, calibration, or modification of hardware and software.
• Read and interpret schematics; assist with test procedures and data collection.
• Collaborate with engineers and other teams to resolve manufacturing test issues.
• Document time changes, test data, and parts usage accurately.
• Support workflow management to achieve team goals.
