Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Test Technician for the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm). You will follow blueprints, perform functional testing, troubleshoot to the component level, and document results in SAP while supporting safety and quality initiatives.

This role requires an HS diploma with electronics troubleshooting experience; familiarity with schematics/blueprints and use of multimeters or oscilloscopes.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with electronics troubleshooting and test equipment.
• Experience with schematics or blueprints.
• Experience with multimeters, oscilloscope, and/or spectrum analyzer.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure products meet specifications and tolerance levels.
• Perform functional testing using established procedures and record results accurately; troubleshoot to component level.
• Monitor test completion, maintain test equipment, and document acceptance or failure outcomes.
• Operate hand tools, machine tools, and electronic/mechanical test equipment safely and effectively.
• Load/unload electronic units in test beds while adhering to safety standards.
• Utilize SAP and computer-based systems to follow work instructions and meet production schedules.
• Participate in CORE, safety, and waste minimization initiatives and audits.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and train others as needed.
