Job summary

OSI Group in Chicago is seeking a supervisor to lead a manufacturing team, assign tasks, train staff, and help meet safety, quality and production goals. You will assist with equipment setup, perform checks, and maintain records while ensuring GMP practices are followed.

The role requires at least 1 year in a similar environment, familiarity with SAP and MS Office, and the ability to work in a structured manufacturing setting. Overtime and premiums may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of on-the-job experience with understanding of process flow, quality, efficiency, safety and organizational requirements.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or trade certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and manufacturing systems; proficient with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned employees and extend the supervisor's capabilities.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and train staff as needed.
• Assist with safety, quality, and production goals and with setup and inspection of equipment.
• Perform pre-op and in-run checks and maintain production records.
• Diagnose production problems and initiate corrective action.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to GMPs.
• Complete required reports and enter data where required.
