Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a 2nd shift Supply Chain Operations Associate in Warren, MI. The role focuses on managing material availability, inventory control, and supplier coordination to ensure on-time delivery for production.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1 year+ administrative experience preferred.
• 1 year+ relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MGO (GM’s MRP system) intermediate preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation management intermediate preferred.
• Knowledge of material flow related to manufacturing processes intermediate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery to support production requirements.
• Serve as main contact for suppliers and manage ship schedules and containment plans when behind schedule.
• Track critical parts and develop containment plans to avoid downtime on the manufacturing line.
• Coordinate alternative sources of material and requests for spot buys as needed.
• Monitor and adjust inventory in MGO; investigate record adjustments and support shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
