Job summary

Responsibilities include following up on parts, maintaining supplier schedules, and ensuring on-time delivery while coordinating with multiple plants. A HS diploma or higher, plus 1+ year of related experience, are expected.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• 1+ year of administrative experience.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of GM's MRP system (MGO) at intermediate level.
• Knowledge of transportation management at intermediate level.
• Knowledge of material flow in manufacturing processes at intermediate level.
• Travel: No

Responsibilities

• Follow-up purchased parts to ensure on-time delivery for production.
• Serve as main contact for suppliers and manage ship schedules.
• Track parts and implement containment to avoid downtime.
• Coordinate alternative sources and spot buys as needed.
• Monitor, set up and cancel truck loads to support schedule variations.
• Review buffers and manage inventory adjustments in MGO.
