Eaton Corporation’s Jackson, MS facility is seeking an Assembler for a 2nd shift (3:30 pm – 12:00 am, Mon–Fri). You will perform minor assembly, read blueprints, conduct inspections, and ensure quality in a safety‑sensitive environment.

The hourly rate is $20.05 with a $1.00 shift differential. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to quality procedures. Flexibility for on‑site work and maintaining clean, organized work areas is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) years general manufacturing or military experience required.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.
• No relocation benefits are being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Eaton’s Jackson, MS facility will be considered for this position

Responsabilidades

• Assemble minor components such as rotor/shaft assemblies and related parts per work orders and lean line operations.
• Create, produce, and attach nameplates per case history and Sales Order Addendum using designated processes and equipment.
• Lock-wire units and verify torque requirements according to customer prints and case histories.
• Perform final pre-shipment checks including assembly of drive shafts, o-rings, caps, plugs and tamper seals.
• Mask and paint parts per blueprints and customer specifications.
• Complete required quality and customer information on reports and documents; self-inspect per Quality Systems.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and ensure safety for all personnel.
• Read inspection ledgers and operation sheets; fill out move tickets and discrepancy reports as needed.
• Return tools to proper locations and maintain tool discipline; use gauges to verify work to specifications.
• Perform subassembly operations and light finishing tasks as needed while following documented process plans.
• Adhere to MSRP and ensure product quality before next operation.
