Job summary

Eaton's Jackson, MS facility is seeking an Assembler 2nd Shift to support assembly operations including rotor/shaft, nameplates, and finish checks. This role is on second shift with core hours 3:30pm–12am, Monday–Friday, and offers a base hourly rate of $20.05 plus a $1 shift differential.

The position emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to customer specifications, with reporting aligned to production and quality documentation.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years general manufacturing or military experience required.
This position requires access to export-controlled information; must be a U.S. person.
No relocation benefits offered; within 50 miles of Jackson, MS facility only.

Responsibilities

Assemble rotor/shaft assemblies and related components per work orders.
Create, produce, and attach nameplates per case history/sales addendum.
Lock wire units and verify torque per specifications and drawings.
Perform final pre-shipment inspections and install drive shafts, o-rings, caps, plugs, tamper seals.
Mask parts and paint per blueprints and customer specs.
Complete quality and customer paperwork; self-inspection and verification.
Maintain clean, safe work area and follow 5S/TPM practices.
Return tools to proper places and use gauges to verify work meets specs.
