Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Cleveland, TN is hiring for an Assembler I (2nd Shift). You will assemble small and large components into sub-assemblies or finished products, following drawings, routings, and work instructions, using hand tools, air tools, rivet guns, and robots.

You will perform quality checks, replenish parts, read catalogs, and maintain a clean, safe workplace while supporting 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Six months hands-on work in assembly/manufacturing or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Cleveland, TN.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Internal candidates: 6 months in current role before applying (if no exception).

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to form sub-assemblies or final products using hand tools, air tools, rivet guns, and robots according to drawings and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks per inspection plans to ensure product accuracy.
• Replenish and manage parts at assembly stations to maintain material flow.
• Read and interpret catalog styles, drawings, and work instructions for procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and support 5S standards.
• Collaborate in a team and assist in training new employees.
• Overtime as needed to meet production needs.
