Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, AL is seeking a 2nd Shift Process Engineer to develop, document, and execute manufacturing processes for electronic products, supporting PCB assembly including SMT and soldering capabilities. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's or higher degree with 2–4 years of related experience, or a Master's with 0–2 years.

Willingness to train on 1st shift and relocate to North Alabama is required; US citizenship and ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant field with experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with MES or PLM software is a plus.
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute manufacturing processes for electronic products.
• Support production of PCB assemblies through SMT, through-hole soldering, and coating processes.
• Create machine programs and oversee manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Coordinate with production control to meet delivery schedules.
