Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing seeks a 2nd Shift Surface Mount Assembly Technician to operate SMT equipment and assemble PCBAs. You'll work on 0402/0603 and BGA packages, often under a microscope, and use a stencil printer, AOI, and reflow equipment.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED with 2–4 years of electronics assembly experience, SMT process knowledge, and the ability to read drawings. US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 2–4 years of related electronics assembly experience.
• Experience with Surface Mount Technology and SMT processes for PCBAs.
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions; US citizenship with Secret Clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMT equipment and related machines (Stencil Printer, AOI, Reflow, P&P).
• Process 0402/0603 packages and BGA components on SMT line.
• Work under microscope and perform hand soldering as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily objectives.
