Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a PCBA Soldering Technician-2nd shift to join our team that produces a variety of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).

The role involves hand soldering on low, medium and high density boards, soldering under a microscope, and performing rework. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a Secret Clearance and be willing to relocate to North Alabama for the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience soldering under a microscope.
• Ability to solder surface mount and through-hole components.
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
• This is a 2nd shift position.

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components on low, medium and high density PCBs.
• Soldering/working under a microscope.
• Perform rework of various electronic packages including resistors and capacitors.
• Work to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact.
• Work independently under limited supervision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
