Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an SMT Operator in Melbourne, FL (ZIP 32904) for 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am). The role focuses on setting up, operating, and troubleshooting SMT machines to assemble PCBs with strict quality standards.

You will read assembly instructions, load components, and conduct inspections with AOI equipment, while maintaining safety and applicable ISO 9001 procedures. Eligible for benefits and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating SMT machines.
• Familiarity with shop floor systems and ISO 9001 desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and monitor SMT assembly lines to manufacture PCBs.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, machine programs, and BOMs.
• Inspect feeds, stencils, and solder paste for proper setup and alignment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and maintain records.
