Job summary

Mack Technologies Florida, Inc. seeks an SMT Operator in Melbourne, FL to set up, operate, and maintain surface-mount technology equipment for PCB assembly. Shift options include Day, Evening, and Night, with local candidates only.

Responsibilities include machine interfacing, quality checks, data logging, and participation in quality teams. Candidates should have 2+ years SMT experience and IPC-A-610 certification preferred; ESD training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 2+ years of SMT equipment operation experience preferred.
• IPC-A-610 Certification preferred.
• ESD training.
• Knowledge of component identification and nomenclature.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain SMT equipment used in PCB assembly.
• Interface with hardware and software controlling machines.
• Identify and report defective components.
• Inspect own work to ensure accuracy and workmanship.
• Follow written/verbal instructions and maintain data logs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure accuracy of WIP.
• Participate in quality teams as required.
• May train other employees.
