Job summary

RRD in St. Charles, IL is seeking a Production Expeditor to support Production supervision by preparing orders in EPIC and Infoshare, expediting work between processes, and verifying customer-specific jobs.

You will organize and prepare orders for downstream processes, verify non-mailables, pulls, and batches to ensure accurate delivery. Responsibilities include expediting non-mailable pieces, verifying files, and maintaining labeling and inventory accuracy while supporting training and special

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience; 3 years preferred.
• Knowledge of Inserter machine computer functions and file handling.
• Previous Inserter Operator experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Payroll data entry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong prioritizing and organizational abilities; follow 5S standards.
• Attention to detail with inventory ordering and station stocking.

Responsibilities

• Adjust manufacturing orders and processes under supervision to improve workflow and accuracy.
• Organize and prepare orders for delivery to subsequent processes, verifying non-mailables and batches.
• Coordinate expediting of non-mailable pieces to reduce cycle time and ensure on-time delivery.
• Verify customer-specific jobs on computers, including opening/closing files.
• Organize and expedite finished products from off-line machines with proper labeling and handling.
• Maintain department files, assist with production planning and special projects, and train others.
