Job summary

Ravago Americas in Illinois seeks a Warehouse Associate for 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Mon–Fri). You will receive and ship materials by hand or using a forklift, clamps, or other powered equipment, following tickets, bills of lading, and safety rules.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and familiarity with inventory control. You will inspect shipments, load trucks, maintain equipment, and contribute to a clean, safe workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; six months or more related experience and/or training; or comparable combination of education and experience.
• Must have 2 years of forklift experience.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as pick tickets, bills of lading, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine correspondence and to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Read picking tickets and shipping documents to determine items needed.
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment; verify product names and lot numbers.
• Inspect packages for damages prior to shipment.
• Load trucks following loading guidelines.
• Assist with condensing rows and with material movement.
• Fill out forms to record new locations.
