Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage daily shipping and distribution operations. You will prepare outgoing shipments, coordinate with carriers, ensure documentation accuracy, and support logistics processes with warehouse, production, purchasing, and customer service teams to fulfill orders on time.

2nd shift runs from 2 PM to 10 PM. Candidates may need overtime and weekend work; there is a $3 shift differential for the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Process and prepare shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, labels).
• Verify shipping instructions and delivery deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with packaging, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process all shipping documentation.
• Verify order accuracy before shipment.
• Monitor and track shipments; communicate delays.
• Maintain shipping logs and databases; update ERP/WMS.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and international shipping guidelines.
