Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Northwest Service Centers in Portland, Oregon. This position operates within a 24/7 industrial distribution environment and regularly partners with warehouse personnel, equipment operators, transportation providers, and operations leaders to safely and efficiently execute customer shipments.

The role provides broad exposure to warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation execution, and supply chain systems.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, SAP, or other enterprise software.
Ability to work in a 24/7 industrial distribution environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute shipping, receiving, inventory, and transportation activities using warehouse management systems, SAP, and other business applications.
Partner with warehouse operations, transportation providers, and customer service teams to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient product movement.
Resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, and operational exceptions that impact customer service and site performance.
Monitor trailer flow and transportation activities to support customer commitments and operational priorities.
Utilize business systems, reports, and operational data to identify and solve problems.
Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, service, inventory accuracy, and operational performance.
