Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to oversee daily shipping and distribution operations. You will prepare outgoing shipments, coordinate with carriers, maintain accurate documentation, and support efficient logistics processes.

Collaboration with warehouse, production, purchasing, and customer service teams ensures orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The role requires 1–3 years in shipping/logistics, familiarity with ERP/WMS systems, and a readiness to work a 2nd shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process all shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, labels, etc.).
• Verify shipping instructions and delivery deadlines.
• Ensure shipments meet compliance and quality standards.
• Confirm product availability and coordinate with warehouse to prepare shipments.
