Job summary

Analog Devices Federal LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support microwave and millimeter wave electronic module manufacturing on 2nd shift in Chelmsford, MA. The role focuses on manufacturing readiness, process collaboration, and data-driven yield and throughput improvements.

You will work with Design and Test teams to ensure robust test plans and timely production handoffs, while participating in continuous improvement and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required / Willing to apply for a security clearance
• BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Material Science, or related engineering discipline
• 2+ years in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing preferred
• Experience with statistical data analysis methods and software
• Strong analytical mind with problem solving skills
• Understanding and knowledge of SPC, DOE, 6-Sigma, and Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to work with diverse teams, customers, and partners

Responsibilities

• Work with Design Engineering to develop components, modules and processes with design for manufacturing best practices
• Identify and resolve manufacturing risks to release schedules
• Characterize and monitor new and released processes cross-functionally
• Ensure robust product test plans and methods are used during development and carried into production
• Coordinate to develop and implement manufacturing plans for the development pipeline
• Lead yield and technical review committees for new and released products
• Address component obsolescence, customer returns, and supplier issues
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing and Test to address supplier and customer requests and events
