Analog Devices, Inc. in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a 1st shift Process Engineering Technician to develop and release new microwave and millimeter-wave processes and support manufacturing on the floor.

Qualifications include U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain security clearance, an associate degree or equivalent in engineering/physics or related micro-electronics, and 3–5 years in semiconductor manufacturing, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering/physics or related micro-electronics field.
• 3–5 years of relevant semiconductor/electronics manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with assembly floor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new procedures and processes with Manufacturing Engineering to improve yield and cycle time.
• Support troubleshooting of equipment and process issues on their shift.
• Provide training to Operators on equipment and processes.
• Investigate and analyze non-conforming material; participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Guide production operators when engineering support is needed.
• Provide general technical assistance including data collection, equipment validation/qualification and automation tasks.
