Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a 1st shift Refrigeration Maintenance worker at the Clarksville, AR complex. The role supports the refrigeration and maintenance supervisor, assigns technicians to equipment, and assists with preventative maintenance and breakdowns to ensure continuous production.

Responsibilities include learning Tyson SAP for work orders and daily documentation, reading and writing communications, and performing required trainings.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in ammonia refrigeration or HVAC, or an equivalent certification from a technical school.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform calculations related to machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
• Willingness to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist refrigeration and maintenance supervisor with personnel and equipment.
• Assign refrigeration techs to equipment during process periods.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdowns.
• Train refrigeration and maintenance techs on equipment.
• Follow up on parts inventory and outstanding POs.
• Fill in for absenteeism or assisting in other areas of the plant.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment to ensure continuous production.
