Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a DSQR/Inspector for 2nd shift in Eastford, CT. This full-time, onsite role focuses on establishing and maintaining a robust quality assurance system to ensure products meet all requirements while supporting internal and customer-facing processes.

The Inspector will verify visual and dimensional specifications, document non-conformities, review customer drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and maintaining a QA system to ensure conforming products.
• Check visual and dimensional characteristics against requirements.
• Declare and document non-conformities.
• Ensure First Article Inspection approval by the customer.
• Prepare documents and packaging per shipment requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to investigate and fix quality issues.
• Monitor processes to keep in control and products conforming to customer requirements.
• Review customer blueprints, specifications and other technical documents.
• Submit and disposition non-conforming material internally and/or from the customer.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with customers or suppliers to satisfy all quality requirements.
• Count, package, and process inventory/shipping in SOS and related portals.
• Pre-pack to Ship on Schedule per Customer Requirements.
• Generate packing slips and labels for customer release agents.
