Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in South Windsor, CT, is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector for the 2nd shift to join our quality assurance team. You will inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of quality systems, experience with calipers and CMM, and the ability to collaborate with production to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, CMM) to perform measurements.
• Analyze inspection results and document findings per procedures.
• Maintain QA/QC practices and assist in quality system improvements.
• Collaborate with production to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Keep work area clean and ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning.
