Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace invites applications for an Inspector II in Manchester, CT. This on-site, first-shift role focuses on inspecting precision machined components throughout manufacturing. You will verify dimensions and tolerances, documenting findings and supporting continuous quality improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of related inspection experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work legally in the U.S. with ITAR/EAR compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years related experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Locate the datums and other aging points on castings, forgings and components.
• Check work by mechanical and electronic inspection methods to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Mark guidelines and reference points for material removal.
• Perform inspections on mills, drills, lasers, and lathes.
• Perform bench inspection of machined rings, forgings, castings, and assemblies.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of welds prior to testing.
• Write rework procedures for non-conforming parts.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
