Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an Inspector/DSQR for the Eastford, CT facility on 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12 AM). You will assist in establishing and maintaining a quality assurance system to ensure products meet requirements.

You will perform visual and dimensional checks, document non-conformities, and coordinate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues. The role requires a High School diploma, legal authorization to work in the U.S., and ITAR/EAR compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own primary supplier delegate for all product release activity.
• Check visual and dimensional characteristics to meet requirements.
• Declare and document non-conformities.
• Ensure First Article Inspection Report is customer approved.
• Check documents and packaging requirements for each shipment.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality issues.
• Monitor processes to ensure control and customer conformity.
• Review customer blueprints, specs and documents.
• Dispositon of non-conforming material with internal or customer review.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with customers or suppliers to satisfy requirements.
• Count, package, and transact inventory in Visual and Customer Portals; inventory control and shipping.
• Count and package marked parts per Whitcraft card and spec.
• Pre-pack to Ship on Schedule (SOS) per customer requirements.
• Package parts and generate packing slips/labels for release to customers.
• Record final execution and transport mode for shipment.
• Maintain SOS inventory records.
• Maintain records of outgoing shipments.
