Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires basic computer skills and a valid driver’s license.
• Must follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and lift >50 pounds.
• Experience in psychiatric/healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients to achieve therapeutic goals through activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Attend to patients’ problems and concerns; encourage participation in activities.
• Provide intervention for behavior problems and crisis situations.
• Promote patients’ awareness and coping skills under clinical supervision.
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ medical and psychiatric status.
• Comply with least restrictive interventions and hospital policies.
