Job summary

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in CNC processes, GD&T, and blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years in a precision machining environment; 2+ years supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of machinists and operators.
• Plan and coordinate production activities to meet schedules and optimize resource use.
• Monitor CNC milling, turning, grinding, and assembly processes for conformance to specs.
• Enforce AS9100 quality management system requirements, including process controls and documentation.
• Identify and resolve production issues, and work with engineering/maintenance for improvements.
• Promote a strong safety culture with regular OSHA/compliance audits.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement in the team.
• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, scrap rates, and efficiency.
