Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Rock Island, Illinois, is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:30 pm) to lead manufacturing teams and drive productivity in a safe, collaborative environment. You will direct activities in processing, manufacturing and repairing, schedule work, assign personnel, and coach about 20 team members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a production/manufacturing supervisor in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Lean concepts and problem-solving skills; Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt a plus.
• Experience with Syteline ERP and Power BI; proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Engineering/precision manufacturing background; CNC experience is desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift production teams to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Organize work, assign personnel, and manage schedules to hit targets.
• Oversee work in progress and coordinate with EHS and ISO processes.
• Coach and develop about 20 hourly team members; participate in hiring.
• Assist with performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
