Job summary

Midland Manufacturing Company in Skokie, IL, is seeking a capable supervisor for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM) to lead production and warehouse activities, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

You will coach staff, manage daily staffing, monitor performance, implement Lean and 5S, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining accurate production records and KPI reporting. ERP proficiency and strong communication are preferred for this hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher with manufacturing supervision experience.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement background preferred.
• Experience with safety, quality, and inventory practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production and warehouse activities to meet safety, quality and on-time delivery goals.
• Assign work, prioritize, and adjust staffing to meet schedules.
• Coach employees and drive accountability through reviews and feedback.
• Lead Lean/5S activities and continuous improvement on the floor.
• Maintain accurate production reports and KPI tracking.
• Coordinate with other departments to balance workflow and resources.
