Job summary

Liberty Diversified International is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Quad Cities plant in Rock Island, IL. You will lead a production team, coach staff, manage metrics, and drive safety and quality initiatives in day-to-day operations.

The role reports to the Plant Superintendent and requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing aligned with customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years’ supervisory, team lead, and / or project leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (i.e. Business/Operations Management, Engineering or related field).
• Demonstrated strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations by leading teams within a production department, including overseeing production metrics and scheduling.
• Lead safety programs and conduct safety huddles to promote safe practices and report findings.
• Support site safety investigations and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Oversee quality processes and audits and maintain equipment through preventative maintenance.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff; conduct timely reviews and manage timekeeping records.
• Drive continuous improvement and sustainability projects, fostering teamwork and measurable results.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth operation and alignment with customer expectations.
