Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Georgia seeks a Production Supervisor to lead safe, quality manufacturing across multiple processes. You will ensure delivery commitments, coach a diverse team, and enforce 6S, safety, and process standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s in industrial/ mechanical eng, 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing, and strong communication. Relocation support available; relocation authorized.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production operations and leading teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Willingness to work off-shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely manufacture a quality product meeting specs and delivery commitments.
• Practice 6S and maintain housekeeping excellence in the department.
• Ensure safety requirements and Cardinal Rules are followed by all employees.
• Verify SOPs and engineering procedures are current and followed.
• Schedule employees to meet production needs and plant policies for time off.
• Provide supervision and coaching to meet daily production metrics.
• Control quality, delivery, cost, work-in-progress and throughput.
• Participate in design/installation input for new manufacturing processes.
• Resolve technical and personnel issues in a constructive manner.
