Qualifications

• Strong communication across organizational levels.
• Root cause analysis / Six Sigma training a plus.

Addresses issues and maintains availability to operators to answer questions as required; Actively analyze department performance against metrics and identify opportunity for continuous improvement. Creates, posts and communicates to ensure everyone understands their role in achieving plant commitments; Guide workforce in the compliance to Standard Work, recommends improvements in Work Instructions, methods, processes, policies and equipment and ensures operators are informed**Required Minimum Qualifications****Education/Certifications**: HS Diploma/GED required; Preference given to candidates with BS Degree Lean/Six Sigma certification desired**Skills and Experience:** 5 years of previous manufacturing experience, including exposure to leading/directing the work of others; Ideal candidate will have 3 years’ direct supervision experience in a manufacturing environment Previous experience in a Lean manufacturing environment, focused on continuous improvement and High Performance Work teams desired Demonstrated ability to lead by example, serving as a positive role model to others and embracing standard work required Strong communication skills required, including the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels in the organization.
