Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in a leadership role, in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
• Experience with scheduling, reporting, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of production workers under the direction of the Plant Manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory policies.
• Promote a safe working environment.
• Monitor production quality and ensure adherence to quality control standards.
• Assist in training new production workers on processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Coordinate with inventory control to ensure materials are available for production.
• May collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure machinery is maintained and in good working condition.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
