Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Leader to oversee shift operations in a North Carolina plant. You will drive targets for productivity, quality, and safety while coaching and developing a team of production professionals.

You will analyze metrics, coordinate maintenance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and waste, ensuring compliant and reliable manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of previous manufacturing leadership experience.
• Preferred experience in nonwoven, textile, printing, or converting operations.
• Experience with manufacturing reporting systems and production metrics.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee off shift manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality expectations, and efficiency goals are achieved.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor production equipment and coordinate troubleshooting efforts to reduce downtime and maintain consistent output.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and established operating procedures; assist with investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead, train, and develop production employees through coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing support.
• Manage employee scheduling, training, performance, and accountability in coordination with company policies.
• Communicate production goals, priorities, and schedule changes to team members and ensure effective shift-to-shift handoffs.
• Track production metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and control operating costs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, workplace organization, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to resolve production challenges and support reliable manufacturing operations.
