Job summary

ABB is hiring a Second Shift Production Supervisor in Fort Smith, AR. You will lead production planning and execution to meet demand while managing costs, quality, and safety.

The role requires coordinating with maintenance and HR, backing up the supervisor, and guiding a team on the shop floor. You will drive continuous improvement, leverage Lean Six Sigma principles, and oversee scheduling, timekeeping, and departmental staffing to ensure on-time delivery and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years manufacturing supervision
• Alternative: 4+ years with an Associate’s degree
• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production schedules to meet demand and inventory targets
• Drive operational performance, implement improvements, and manage costs
• Provide leadership, training, and development to the Fort Smith team
• Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards and resolve equipment issues
