Job summary

ABB's NEMA Motors Division in Fort Smith, AR seeks a seasoned production supervisor for third shift (10:45 pm–6:45 am, Mon–Fri). You will oversee production planning, scheduling, and employee timekeeping, ensuring safety, quality, and budgeted cost targets in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to resolve issues and maintain high productivity and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years OR Associate with 4+ years OR HS diploma with 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Work authorization to work for ABB in the US is required.
• Preferred: supervisory experience in manufacturing and lean/six sigma background.

Responsibilities

• Produce planning & execution: ensure schedules meet demand, maintain departmental schedules, and manage timekeeping for staff.
• Oversee productivity, quality, and cost targets; identify deficiencies and drive improvements.
• Lead and develop the team; enforce policies and foster collaboration within the plant leadership.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and quality standards; resolve production issues with cross-functional teams.
