Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Supervisor for NEMA Motors in Fort Smith, AR, on 2nd shift (3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., Mon–Fri). The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and leading manufacturing teams to meet demand, quality, and cost targets.

Strong emphasis on safety, process improvements, and personnel development. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in manufacturing supervision (Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR Associate’s Degree with minimum 4 years experience OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 6 years experience.
• Preferred: Supervisory experience in manufacturing; Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP Certifications; Shopfloor Display; Microsoft Office suite; SAP, Workday, Kronos.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Execution: ensure schedules meet demand and maintain service levels.
• Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement: identify deficiencies and drive productivity and quality gains.
• Leadership & Team Development: coach, train, and uphold fair, professional team environment.
