Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Elyria, Ohio, is seeking a Production Supervisor on the 2nd shift (3:00pm–Midnight with an hour meal break) to lead a team in metal fabrication, assembly, and test, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will mentor staff, apply lean tools, manage resource planning, and help with budgets and monthly reporting while coordinating with Value Stream Managers.

Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing and familiarity with 5S and continuous improvement

Competenze

• 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or machine knowledge preferred.
• Deep understanding of cellular manufacturing practices.
• Ability to teach manufacturing-based continuous improvement skills (5S, standard work, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the business.

Mansioni

• Lead and direct a team in Metal Fabrication, Assembly, and/or Test to meet schedules.
• Identify lean tools to drive improvements and mentor teammates.
• Provide inputs for monthly and annual budgets and overtime projections.
• Review KPIs and drive daily problem solving using standard methods.
• Ensure quality issues are identified and non-conforming materials are managed.
• Coordinate with other groups to ensure products meet parameters and customer demand.
