Job summary

Techmer PM in Clinton, TN is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift. The role supervises the production team, ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to ISO 9001, GMP, and Lean principles to meet customer orders.

Responsibilities include driving 95% on-time delivery, optimizing manpower, leading Kaizen and 6S activities, and coaching staff. Strong Spanish skills are preferred for team communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of prior manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience in using and following a Quality Management System in Manufacturing (QMS).
• Computer literate in MS Office and Microsoft D365 ERP system.
• Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools to resolve processing problems and optimize efficiencies.
• Expertise in deployment and driving of manufacturing metrics (KPI).
• Experience in compounding of polymers or related field.
• High degree of organizational skills to effectively handle all assigned responsibilities.
• Team builder.
• Experience in implementing Good Manufacturing Practices across the production area.
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) with excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operations during the 2nd shift.
• Supervise employees to ensure they fulfill the mission and goals.
• Drive on-time deliveries and achieve target OTD (95%).
• Coordinate scheduling and optimize manpower efficiency and changeover times.
• Lead 6S, cross-training, and adherence to SOPs; collaborate with maintenance and engineering.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and participate in audits as needed.
• Mentor staff and conduct quarterly performance reviews.
• Administer safety programs and enforce disciplinary actions when required.
