Job summary

Techmer PM is hiring a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at Clinton, TN. The role oversees safe, efficient production, supervises staff, and drives on-time delivery while upholding ISO 9001 standards.

The position requires 2–3 years of supervisory experience, QMS familiarity, and Lean/Six Sigma expertise. Spanish language skills are preferred, with strong communication in a fast-paced polymer production environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of prior manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience in using a Quality Management System in manufacturing (QMS).
• Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft D365 ERP system.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools to resolve processing problems and improve efficiency.
• Expertise in deploying manufacturing metrics (KPIs).
• Experience in compounding polymers or related field.
• High degree of organizational skills to handle responsibilities.
• Team-building capabilities.
• Experience implementing Good Manufacturing Practices across production area.
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operations during the assigned shift.
• Supervise employees and ensure goals are met.
• Drive on-time deliveries and improve OTD to target.
• Coordinate scheduling and optimize manpower through C/O reductions.
• Maintain ISO 9001 compliance and participate in audits.
• Lead Kaizen events and Lean projects to reduce defects and costs.
• Develop and update SOPs with engineering support.
• Mentor staff and conduct quarterly reviews.
