Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is hiring a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Edwardsville, IL. You will lead a team of associates to meet customer demands while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Responsible for KPI monitoring, shift readiness, and coaching team members to achieve targets.

The role requires supervision experience, strong planning, and a LEAN mindset to continuously improve processes and performance within a climate-controlled production environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of experience supervising a medium size team.
• Basic understanding of LEAN methodology and concepts is preferred.
• Overall planning and execution of enhancing quality and customer service.
• Product progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects.
• Ensure that the operational staff is qualified and adequately trained.
• Research customer impacting issues at a level to provide root cause and corrective action.
• Effectively collaborate with cross functional teams to escalate issues and drive solutions.
• Execution on customer driven requirements.
• Leading and developing a team of full-time and subcontractor associates and coaching them to meet goals.
